Hello, welcome to my corner of the web! My name is Josh, I use the moniker WhiteRqbbit and I am a cybersecurity enthusiast with a deep-seated passion for continuous learning.

My journey into the world of cybersecurity has been far from linear, and that's part of what makes it unique. Unlike many of my peers, my path didn't lead me through traditional Computer Science or IT help deck. Instead, my understanding of the cyber realm has been primarily shaped by my tenacity, curiosity, and an insatiable desire to delve deeper into this fascinating field. I believe that the diversity of my prior work experience and educational trajectory has equipped me with a unique perspective and approach to tackling the complex challenges that cybersecurity presents.

One of my core values is the pursuit of growth. I take pride in pushing my boundaries, continually expanding my knowledge, and fine-tuning my skills. To this end, I've not only dedicated myself to acquiring formal qualifications like Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1) but also am a current student at SANS Institute Cyber Security Bachelor's Degree Program (BACS) but also to exploring ancillary areas of interest. For instance, I am always seeking to broaden my horizons with supplemental learning opportunities, like specialized cybersecurity courses and trainings. These pursuits, ranging from malware analysis to network security and beyond, help me delve into the nuances of cyber threats and equip me with the skills to identify, analyze, and neutralize digital threats effectively. Whether it's learning from fellow veterans in the field or diving into self-taught challenges, these experiences continually enrich my understanding and practical expertise in cybersecurity.
